Managing trades
How to add funds to an open trade, reduce it, close it by market or by limit, edit it or cancel it, in the Terminal or by asking the agent.
Once a smart trade is open, you can still change it. You can put more money in, take part of it out, close it, move its targets or cancel it. Every action is available in the Terminal section, and the most common ones also work through the agent.
Where to find your open trades
Open Terminal. Active trades are listed under the order form. Each card shows the pair, the bot if there is one, the number of entries ("1 of 3"), the volume, when the trade was opened, the current return and a ruler with the price between the stop loss and the targets.

On a card you have these controls:
- Show on chart draws the trade levels on the chart.
- Orders opens the list of the trade orders: the entry, averaging orders, take profits and stop loss, each with its status. On futures the list also shows the liquidation price.
- Refresh reloads the data.
- Actions opens the menu with everything below.
All your trades, open and closed, are also in the Trades section, the trading diary.
Actions in the Terminal
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Increase Position | Adds funds to the trade. Enter the extra amount, check the new size and confirm |
| Reduce Position | Exits part of the trade. Choose the amount or the percent, then confirm |
| Close by Market | Cancels the targets and the stop and closes the whole position with a market order |
| Close by Limit | Cancels the targets and the stop and closes the position with a limit order at the current price |
| Edit | Loads the trade into the order form. The account, pair and side stay locked. Change the orders, press Update trade, check the Confirm updating trade window and press Confirm. Cancel next to the button leaves the edit without changes |
| Cancel | Cancels the trade on Skyrexio (read the note below) |
Close and cancel ask for a second confirmation in a small window. It names the action and what will happen, and you can back out with Don't close or Keep trade.
Cancel does not close the position
This is the most common surprise. If the entry order has already filled, you own the coin on the exchange. Cancel stops Skyrexio from managing the trade: the targets and the stop are removed, but the position stays open and the assets stay on your exchange account. To get out of the position, use Close by Market or Close by Limit instead. If the entry has not filled yet, cancel simply removes the pending order.
Market or limit close
Close by Market is fast and certain. It fills at whatever price the order book offers at that moment, so on a thin market the result can differ from the price you saw. Close by Limit places a limit order at the current price instead. It will not fill at a worse price, but if the market moves away, the order can stay open and the position with it.
Do the same through the agent
The agent can manage trades too. Each of these actions shows a confirmation card, and nothing happens until you press Approve.
Add 50 USDT to my open BTC trade
Close my ETH trade by market
Cancel the SOL trade that has not filled yet
The agent can add funds, cancel a trade and close it by market. Closing by market is treated as a critical action: the card carries a Critical mark, and the fill happens at the book price, not at the price on the card. Reducing a position, closing by limit and editing the orders are done in the Terminal only.
You can also open the Actions menu of a trade and choose Ask the assistant to start a chat about that trade.
A typed "yes" in chat does not confirm anything. Only the Approve button on the card does. A card expires after 5 minutes on a real account and 30 minutes on demo.
Get an email when a trade closes
The platform can email you when a trade closes by take profit, stop loss or your limit price. Open the account menu, go to Settings, then Notifications, and turn the email switch on. It covers trades made through the agent and the Terminal, not bots.
If something looks wrong
The status shows "pending" or "updating". The platform is waiting for the exchange to confirm. Press Refresh after a few seconds.
An order is "failed". The exchange rejected it, most often because of a minimum size, a lack of free balance or an exchange rule. Ask the agent why, or open Orders to see which order failed.
A reduction or a small take-profit slice is rejected. Every exchange has a minimum order value, and an order below it does not go through.
Next: Futures and Smart trade.
