Confirmation cards
How the confirmation card works: what each part means, how long it stays valid, and what the result states mean.
The agent never places an order or changes a bot on its own. Before any action that touches money it shows a confirmation card, and nothing happens until you confirm it with a button on the card. This page explains the card from top to bottom.
Parts of the card
- Title: "Confirmation required".
- Mode banner: REAL (your own money) or DEMO (simulated money). Always check it first.
- Parameters: pair, side, amount, take profit, stop loss, leverage and so on. For a bot change, the card shows what changes field by field.
- Expiry line: "Expires" and a time. After that time the card can no longer be approved.
- Buttons: Approve and Reject. A trade card has Review and confirm instead of Approve: a trade is approved only from the review window. After a decision the trade card shows Details, which opens the same window read-only.
Review and confirm
Review and confirm opens the Confirm your trade window. It shows the account, exchange, pair, the entry, take profit and stop loss, the market price, the estimated fee, the share of your free balance the trade uses, a check against the exchange rules, any warnings and the time left. The trade is placed only when you press Approve inside this window.
How long a card is valid
| Mode | Valid for |
|---|---|
| Real money | 5 minutes |
| Demo | 30 minutes |
After that the card shows Expired and its buttons disappear. A trade card then offers Rebuild at the current price, which asks the agent to build the same trade again at the current price, and Details, which shows what the card held.
Approve or reject
- Approve sends the action. On a trade card this button is inside the review window. The result appears on the card.
- Reject marks the card as rejected and nothing is sent.
A typed "yes" in the chat is not a confirmation. Only the Approve button counts, and the agent will not act on words alone.
Results
After you approve, the card shows one of these results:
| Result | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Done | The action was carried out |
| Accepted | A trade: the platform accepted the order and is sending it to the exchange. The fill shows in the Terminal |
| Not performed | It did not happen, for example the exchange rejected it. Nothing changed |
| Partly applied | Some steps were done and some were not. Check the details |
| Outcome unknown | The platform could not confirm the outcome. Ask the agent to check, or look in the section, before you try again |
| Refused by the platform | A check failed, for example a plan limit or an exchange rule |
The agent then reports the result in the chat.
Things to know
- Bots need two confirmations. A bot created in the chat is created switched off. Starting it is a second card. Stopping, changing and deleting a bot each need their own card too.
- Market orders can fill at a different price. The price on the card is an estimate. A market order fills at whatever the order book offers at that moment.
- Closing by market fills at the market price. It ends the trade right away, at whatever price the order book offers, which can differ from the card.
- Deleting a bot cancels its open deals and cannot be undone. Cancelling removes their orders but does not close positions that already filled.
- Cancelling a trade whose entry has already filled leaves the position open.
- Your allowance does not block cards. If your AI allowance has run out, you can still confirm or reject cards that are already on screen. See AI allowance.
The agent shows a card once and does not ask again in words. If you want changes, ask for them and a new card replaces the old one.
