Market news
How the agent finds crypto news: the latest headlines and a deeper web search for what happened to a coin or an event.
The agent can tell you what is going on in the market and why a coin moved. It does this in two ways: a quick look at the latest headlines, and a deeper search of the web.
Latest headlines
The agent keeps a feed of headlines from CoinDesk and The Block. The feed is refreshed every 15 minutes, so it is fresh enough for a daily overview. You can ask for everything, or narrow it to a coin or a topic.
What is new in crypto?
This is quick and cheap. Use it when you want a general picture or the latest on a specific coin.
Deeper search
For anything outside the platform's own feed, the agent searches the web. Typical questions:
- listings and delistings;
- hacks and exploits;
- regulation and legal decisions;
- macro events that moved the market;
- why a particular coin rose or fell.
Why did SOL drop today?
By default the search looks back about a week, and it can go back up to 30 days if you ask: "what happened to LINK over the last month?". It reads a handful of articles and summarises them, with the sources they came from.
A deep search uses more of your AI allowance than an ordinary answer. If you only need the headlines, say so, and the agent uses the cheap feed. See AI allowance.
Make the question specific
- Name the coin or the event, and the time window if it matters: "SOL news from the last 3 days".
- Ask about one thing at a time. "Why did ETH move on Tuesday?" gets a better answer than "tell me everything about crypto".
- Follow up in the same chat: "which of these affects my open BTC trade?"
Combine news with a trade
News is context, not a signal. A useful pattern is to ask for the news, then the chart, then a draft:
- "Why did SOL drop today?"
- "Show the SOL chart with levels."
- "Prepare a small long with a tight stop loss."
The last step gives you a confirmation card, and nothing is placed until you approve.
Limits
- The agent reports what the sources say. It cannot check every claim, and a fresh story may be incomplete.
- News does not need a connected account, so you can use it on the very first day. See Your first session.
